The National Forum for Environment and Health, recognised the environmental awareness efforts of the Dawoodi Bohra community in Pakistan with an award for best tree plantation.
In an event held at the Marriott Hotel in Karachi, the Nazafat (cleanliness) department of the community – which is dedicated to creating a wholesome and healthy living environment for all – was commended for its many efforts throughout the year; especially its tree planting initiatives.
Community members were presented with a trophy and a certificate of appreciation during the course of the event.
