PAKISTAN NGO DEPICTS BOHRA MASJID IN URDU TEACHING MURAL

In a series of murals the Bohras’ Taheri masjid is chosen to represent the Arabic letter ط (t) for Taheri Masjid.

The Dawoodi Bohras’ Taheri masjid is located in one of the key commercial districts of Karachi, Pakistan. It has been chosen for a mural painted by an NGO providing teaching aids to the public for the Urdu alphabet. The Urdu text adjacent to it is rendered here in English:

Located in the heart of Karachi, Taheri Masjid is a large masjid belonging to our brothers from the Dawoodi Bohra Community. The masjid consists of a special area exclusively for female worshippers. Additionally, the masjid complex incorporates a jamaat khaana (community centre/dining hall), where ceremonies such as weddings and other activities take place.
